Fashion Friday: Fall Wishlist

work time | handbag | denim | blouse | booties | trench brunch time | necklace | handbag | top | denim | flat I know I’m not alone in saying that I’m that basic girl that loves the Fall. I mean what’s not to love – leaves, sweater weather, college football and pumpkin spice everything. The Fall is my absolute favorite time of year to dress for as the options for layers are limitless. And currently I am lusting over all these items and will be all too happy to see them sitting pretty in my closet. Happy Friday lovelies!

Loving in September

1. ILIA Sheer Vivid Tinted Moisturizer has been my favorite product so far this Fall. I have a strict rule that I never wear foundation during the summer months because I feel like my skin can’t breath so a tinted moisturizer is the perfect alternative. Unfortunately, even though it’s September the weather has yet to cool down here and still reaches the high 80’s during the day which means it’s not quite foundation weather. ILIA’s products are so luxurious and their Tinted Moisturizer is no exception. Formulated with aloe vera for added hydration the moisturizer goes on thinly and has just a hint of color plus it has SPF 20 so it protects your skin from uva and uvb rays. 2. This Silk Ruffle-Hem Dress from Madewell is the new love of my life. Well if I’m being completely honest the whole of the Madewell store is the new love of life. For some months now I’ve been paying very close attention to what I wear and I’m not talking about what the latest trends …

2015 Pantone Color of the Year – Marsala

This Pea Coat is so Fall and Winter chic. The clean lines of this coat are perfection. Plus it’s vegan, eco-friendly and zero waste. I’ve featured this handbag before and I am still just as in love with it today. The wine color tote represents the new color of the year splendidly, no? It’s also fair trade, eco-friendly and vegan. These namaste earrings by Ananda Soul Creations are simply gorgeous. Garnet attracts love to your personal relationships and enhances courage and self-confidence. This may be my favorite beauty product as it’s so simple and effective at clearing my skin. This french red clay konjac sponge hydrates and brightens dull skin through gentle exfoliation. My favorite fall/winter accessory is a dark nail. This nail lacquer is the best way to try on marsala for yourself. I love Ilia lipstick because it’s the only one that moisturizes while adding long lasting color. Slap on some of Ilia’s Tinted Lip Conditioner in Bang Bang. I’m still lusting over these shoes and since they’re on sale I should probably …

Friday Favorites: Gym Glam

Without question the busiest places at the beginning of a new year are the gym and the produce section at the grocery store. Battling the crowds can be trying at times, especially when all you want to do is focus on your asanas and then pick up a coconut water post yoga. So what better way to go from the gym to the market than with a chic new outfit or two? No matter what your sweaty activity of choice there’s are many well fitting, wicking, sustainable and eco-chic options. Hardcore Yoga 1. This Peace Warrior Pullover looks like the coziest top to pull on post workout. Be Love Apparel gives $5 from every order directly to homeless women and their children. 2. What active gal doesn’t have a Lululemon obsession? This racerback tank does it all, literally give it all you’ve got. Lulelemon’s mission is a mix of sustainability, responsibility and community, get behind it ya’ll. 3. These yoga pants from Teeki are like a burst of sunshine in the dead of winter. Teeki’s …

Currently Coveting: Good Fashion

When I say the words eco-friendly or sustainable fashion the first thought that undoubtedly comes to your mind is granola. So not cute. I know this because up until recently it was the word, plus a few more, that came to my mind. Well just go ahead and forget everything you’ve seen thus far in the earth conscious fashion world because I’m about to blow your mind. New brands of eco-friendly and sustainable designers are cropping up all over the web and the clothing items they are putting out are not only good for us they’re chic to boot! I still haven’t picked my jaw up off the floor as I swoon over so many outfits, shoes, handbags and more. And, I feel a lot better about my occasional materialism because the items I’m now buying are actually sustainable, earth friendly and good. Here are my recent swoon worthy items I have en route to me for the Fall season. One // Two // Three // Four // Five // Six

T.G.I.Green: teeki

teeki is a company I just recently learned about when shopping for some new yoga duds. I fell in love with their clothing first and foremost because they’re fashionable but was overjoyed to find out that they’re a sustainable company as well. Hot damn! All of the pants they sell is made up of 79% recycled plastic bottles. The process by which they make the pants is fascinating. You can check out the process here. As you all know from my previous Friday posts, I’m a sucker for a company that’s mission is to be kind to the Earth and do good. Plus they’re made in the good ol’ US of A so their carbon footprint is reduced. teeki’s intention is to make a difference in the world and the earth by creating a business that is based on LOVE and sustainability. We believe in the law of attraction meaning what you put in is what you get back. Our mantra is to be kind to the earth and to support her in all ways so that in …
